Privacy & Data

Your career data, explained without the legalese.

This page is a summary written for people, not lawyers. The Privacy Policy remains the authoritative document.

What we hold

Your account details, the CV and preferences you give us, and the record of roles you viewed, saved or applied to.

Why we hold it

To match you with roles, explain the fit, prepare drafts you can review, and keep your application history in one place.

What we never do

We do not sell your data and we do not pass your profile to employers or recruiters as a sales lead.

You send every application

Huntly never contacts an employer. It prepares the draft and hands it to you; you submit the application yourself on the employer's own site.

Export and deletion

Both are in your account settings, under Your data. Deletion removes your live data and the files you uploaded, after a grace period you can cancel in. Our encrypted operational backups are separate and age out on their own schedule.

Kept secure

Your information is encrypted in transit, and access is scoped to your own account by row-level security enforced in the database.

Making a request

Export and account deletion are in your account settings, under Your data. You do not need to ask us. If you would rather we did it — or your account signs in with Google and has no password for us to re-check — email privacy@huntlyagent.com from the address on your account, or use Contact Us. Anything else, such as correcting information we hold, comes to the same address.

The full detail — the categories of data, our processors, retention and your rights — lives in the Privacy Policy. Browser storage is covered in the Cookie Policy, and our wider commitments are on the Trust page. Nothing on this page changes or overrides those documents.
